The Inspired Agent Academy · St. Petersburg

A Florida real estate school · Permit ZH1003171

A license is where this starts.

Most schools sell you sixty-three hours and wave goodbye at the exam. We start with the sixty-three hours, then the forty-five that come after, and then the things nobody teaches at all: how to farm a neighborhood, how to direct AI instead of fearing it, how to know license law well enough to argue about it in a game show. One school, from the first hour to the tenth year.

Eighteen courses. Fourteen open today.

Get licensed, stay sharp, get good. Every course here is taught the same way: short pieces, real practice, questions that get harder on purpose, and someone who notices when you go quiet.

63 hours · Sales associate pre-license

Sales Associate Pre-License

Florida's sales associate pre-license course. Sixty-three hours, built in short pieces for a phone, with fingerprinting on site, your DBPR application filed properly, and your exam date booked with you rather than by you.

45 hours · Post-license

Post-License

The deadline nobody warns a new agent about. Florida requires new sales associates to finish forty-five hours of post-license education before their first renewal. We would rather you plan for it now than panic later.

Namasté Out of Trouble: Ethics for the Enlightened Agent

Real scenarios, real consequences, real protection. Professional ethics taught through Florida transactions you will recognize, so you spot a problem before a complaint is filed rather than after. Taught as an escape room, because nobody has ever stayed awake through an ethics lecture and everybody stays awake trying to get out of a room.

Three ways in

Take it alone, take it in a room, or take it at sea.

The follow-up, the paperwork and the preparation are identical in all of them. The only real question is how much company you want, and whether you would rather be in the chair or in your kitchen.

Yours at 11pm

Self-paced

Short lessons on your phone, your progress saved as you go, and the same weekly call from Cara in the licensing courses. No room to show up to and no schedule to keep. The skills workshops are open now; the licensing courses open soon.

Twice a week, evenings

Live, in person or online

Same session, two doors. Sit in the classroom in St. Petersburg, or join the identical session online from wherever your evening actually happens. A small group that started when you did, with someone who notices when you go quiet. Recorded either way, so missing one costs you nothing.

Optional, always

At sea

Some courses are also taught somewhere considerably better than a conference room. Never required, never a condition of anything, and always available for less from your kitchen table.

Why this school

The hours are a commodity. Everything around them is not.

Florida sets the curriculum, so every school teaches the same sixty-three hours. What differs is whether anybody notices when you stop.

Someone notices when you go quiet

A real check-in every week from Cara, not an automated nudge with your first name in it. Go quiet and you get a phone call. That one thing is the difference between finishing and not.

Fingerprinting at the school

Florida requires electronic fingerprinting and most students lose a week hunting for a vendor and a slot. We bring mobile Livescan on site. You choose your date when you register.

Your exam date, booked with you

We sit down together, choose a date you can realistically be ready for, book it while you are in the room, and build your review plan backwards from it. Nobody here picks a date and hopes.

A team before you need one

Title, lending, inspection, insurance, photography. You meet them while you are still studying, so the numbers are in your phone the day your license is issued.

Math you can actually do

Prorations, commissions, transfer taxes, qualifying ratios, drilled in every single unit until the arithmetic is boring. Boring is exactly where you want it.

A commencement, in a room

Nobody gets a certificate by email. Bring your family, especially your kids, and we read your own words back to you in front of everyone.

A mixed group of real estate students around a table during a live session in St. Petersburg

The room is your first network. Some of these people will still be taking your calls in ten years.

Beyond the coursework

Rooms worth walking into.

Business and Brews for Change, the Social Media Marketing Lab on Monday mornings, Build Your Team Nights, daytime sessions for people whose evenings are spoken for, and Mom, Dad and Me for parents who refuse to choose. Most are open to you long before you are licensed.

Straight answers

What people actually ask before they enroll.

How long does it take to get a Florida real estate license?
Florida requires a 63-hour pre-license course, a passing score on the state examination, electronic fingerprinting and an approved DBPR application. Most people finish the coursework in six to twelve weeks depending on the pace they choose. The paperwork and exam scheduling usually add two to four weeks on top.
What are the requirements to become a real estate sales associate in Florida?
You must be at least 18, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, have a United States Social Security number, complete the 63-hour pre-license course from a permitted Florida school, pass the state examination, and be fingerprinted. A criminal record does not automatically disqualify you, but it must be disclosed honestly on the application.
Can I start a course today?
Yes. Fourteen self-paced skills workshops are open now. Two are free from start to finish: Pop-bys, Donuts & Deals and Swipe Right on AI. Every other course opens with its first chapter free to read, no account needed, and the rest opens with enrollment, which is opening soon. That includes The Listing Machine, The $1M Blueprint and a ten-course Marketing & Brand track: listing marketing, photography, copy, social, video, email, open houses, marketing law and your personal brand. Every course is included for Inspired Nooks Realty agents. The licensing, Florida law and ethics courses are opening soon; join the waitlist and you hear first. Need CE credit today? Take it through our partner, The CE Shop.
What is the 45-hour post-license course, and do I need it?
Every newly licensed Florida sales associate must complete a 45-hour post-license course before their first license renewal. If you miss that deadline the license is void and you begin again at the 63-hour pre-license course.
Do I have to attend live classes?
No. Live attendance is never required, and nothing about your enrollment, completion or certificate depends on it. Sessions are recorded. We encourage attending anyway, because the people in the room become your first professional network.
Where is the school located?
The Inspired Agent Academy is based in St. Petersburg, Florida, and serves the Tampa Bay area including Pinellas Park, Largo, Seminole, Clearwater and Kenneth City. Courses can be taken online from anywhere in Florida.
Can you guarantee I will pass the state exam?
No, and no Florida real estate school may. Any school that implies otherwise is telling you something about itself. What we can do is drill the material until it is boring, book your exam for when you are genuinely ready, and be honest with you about where you stand.

One last thing

The sixty-three hours are not getting shorter.

A license you start in January is a license you hold in spring. If you have been circling this for a year, the only thing missing was someone to hold the door.
