Module 1 · Work like a luxury agent · Lesson 1 of 11 · free to read
Six habits, no luxury listing required
You don't need a luxury listing to work like a luxury agent. That's the whole idea of this track. Luxury agents aren't defined by the price of what they sell. They're defined by how they work: carefully, quietly, and the same way every time.
If you're new, this is good news. Habits are free. You can practice every one of these on a rental, a condo or your first buyer, and they'll already be second nature when the bigger listing arrives.
The six habits
- Presenting with discretion. You protect the client's privacy and speak with quiet confidence.
- Pricing a home with no twin. You can build an honest range for a home that doesn't match anything else on the street.
- Estate-level marketing. Every listing is prepared, restrained and detailed, whatever the price.
- Private showings, the same for every buyer. Appointment-only when needed, prepared every time, with the same policy for everyone.
- Waterfront questions. You know what to ask about seawalls, docks, flood and insurance, and who to ask for the answer.
- A vendor bench. You have trusted professionals ready, and you refer ethically.
How to use this track
Take one habit a week. Read the lesson, do the exercise, use it on real work that week. Six weeks from now, you work differently.
Score yourself 1 to 5 on each habit, honestly. Circle the lowest two. Those are the lessons to read twice.
